K., good to have you aboard on the names! The ones I like best of yours are; GUNNER, STAN THE MAN, SECRET AGENT MAN.
Didn't you like the name, NEW HORIZONS???– fastest spacecraft known to man, on its way to Pluto as we speak! Kind of a good name anyway, I think, searching for new frontiers.
The more I think about it, the more I like the name, Bannister — hope you do too! There will never be another Roger Bannister, as he will always be the first to break the 4 minute mile! And I don't know about you, but I just really like the name! He was knighted ( so you have your knight, Rick! ;-) ). I remember back when it happened and it was a HUGE deal, making all the news outlets and Roger was an instant legend all over the world! It is the closest thing as humans we have to compare to the route-running thoroughbred — so to me, at least, it's a good fit. If you don't like the use of his first and last name together, ROGER BANNISTER, you could go with these also:
ROCINANTE ( Don Quixote's horse — the meaning of the name, old work-horse previously, is meant to reflect on Quixote's life as well — a common man who became important and knighted ( at least in his mind ;-) ) — thus a common man and a common horse, no more!

How about Apollo 8? (I think that was the first to orbit the moon?) Sorta compares to running around the racetrack. Wasnt Apollo fast or special?
Hey AJ! I'm okay with any of the Apollo missions or Mercury missions. Too bad Apollo is taken. :( Was looking up Conquistador, really like, but it was also taken ( on reserve ). Anyway, looked up the Spanish Conquistadors and one famous one appears to be available if they'd allow it:
Change of pace here. Since we know he'll be fast and we can tell he's smart ;-) ( also goes with the magic on the UBS side) — what about:
Â
     WHIZ
Â
WHIZ LIGHTYEAR ( take-off on Buzz, BUZZ LIGHTYEAR appears to be available, too, if they would allow it? ) or
WIZ LIGHTYEAR or KNIGHT YEAR   or  BUZZ KNIGHTYEAR or WHIZ KNIGHTYEAR
Â
KNIGHT WIZARD ( a knight who is magical with his sword or in battle )
I feel bad for this yearling. I guess he is technically 2 yrs old now and he has no name? What was that song by 'America'?? Horse with no Name? Jan, have you heard how he is doing? How about the fillies? AJ
Are we still doing this? AJ, did you get your second wind? Â Â I've given up. My brain can't think of any more — I gave it my best shot…….
No, Im done. Just got bored. Really quiet week. Cant find any FHF runners, workouts, etc. Future bets this weekend. I need to find a job. Retirement is very boring when you live in NJÂ on a small pension. We need Katrina back to liven things up!! She disappeared on us again!! Hope all is well.AJ
I'm heading out to see, "The Artist" in a few minutes which got me thinking of my favorite musical's of all time. Camelot ( coincidentally having knights of the round table as its theme ) is right up there near the top of my list. Names like, Wizard's Wisdom or Merlin's Wisdom, Merlin's Music, Merlin's Song come to mind. Anyway, here are a few of my favorite songs from the show, courtesy of youtube:
