Joyful Victory Romps

Joyful ran her style race yesterday and won easily. Great horsemanship as always by Larry and a confident ride by Rosie. Her next race will be the Zenyatta at Santa Anita, which she ran second in last year. There is still a possibility that she will run next year if she stays competitive at this level. Larry said she came out of the race in great shape and ate up last night and this morning. They are on their way back to Kentucky.
Normandy Invasion went back to the track and jogged nicely for three days and has galloped for the last two days. Chad is extremely happy with the way he is getting over the ground.

Great news all around, Rick! It would be awesome to see Joyful run as a 6 year old! She seems to enjoy what she’s doing and I am in no hurry to see her as a broodmare. 😉 We all know how she loves Santa Anita, so looking forward to her races there! She looked and ran awesome yesterday! When do you think Normandy will be ready to have a timed work again? Any word on Smitten — has she seen Dr. Bramlage yet? Thanks as always for the update.
